Of course we think the place is great, we live here. We also believe Wau Adventures offers amazing and unique adventures that give you the chance to see and feel what the region, and Papua New Guinea as a whole, is all about. No matter what you do, we ensure your safety and well being are always our first priority. We wouldn’t expect you to just take our word for it, so here’s what a few of our guests had to say:
“...it all seems a bit like a dream now. I keep going over it in my mind and am so thrilled to have been to see the bomber... I had forgotten how spectacular the scenery is between Wau and Bulolo. ...thanks for a fabulous time and all the lovely meals. One of the highlights of my life.”

“...the Kokoda Track was challenging but lacked the unspoilt charm of Skin Diwai / Black Cat. ...the hard first day with the pay off of seeing the B-17; the technically difficult contouring of the second day spiced by the huge drops to the Buiseval River; the many river crossings and sloshing along creeks of the third day; and the leisurely raft cruise to Salamaua on the fourth day. The cultural experience of interacting with people not long out of the stone-age and still hunting with bow and arrows and spears was unique. ...Glenn and Peter oriented themselves based on the accounts of the battle that they have read and were able to sit in the very foxhole that their Uncle Phil had fought in 65 years ago to the day. This was really important to us and that achievement alone made this holiday one of our most memorable ever. Many of the WW2 relics are still there on Black Cat where they have long been picked up on Kokoda. It was a real highlight. In the evening we roasted a fish caught that day for us by one of the locals. What more could you want!”
