PNG is known as the ‘Land of the unexpected’, and Wau is a prime example of what they meant. Throughout the region are spectacular sights and activities for everyone from families to adrenaline junkies. Most involve some level of activity and fitness, and take you deep into PNG culture and tradition… and some are just plain good fun. From several quiet hours to full action-packed days, there’s guaranteed to be something for you.
The attractive rugged nature of these activities means that they are occasionally not available. Whether due to landslides across roads, severe weather conditions, or tribal clashes, we just can’t make any guarantees. We will do our best to forecast the conditions, and provide advice prior to your arrival... and always make the best of your journey no matter what happens.
